Pada 17 dan 18 September 2024, serikat buruh bersama sejumlah mantan karyawan menggelar aksi demonstrasi besar-besaran.<\/p>\n<p>Mereka menuntut hak atas pesangon yang belum dibayarkan oleh pihak manajemen hotel, meskipun sudah ada putusan resmi dari Dinas Tenaga Kerja (Disnaker) Makassar.<\/p>\n<p>Aksi protes ini dipicu oleh penolakan manajemen Hotel Gammara terhadap keputusan Disnaker Makassar No. 2584\/ Disnaker\/ 565\/VIII\/2024, yang mengharuskan hotel tersebut membayar pesangon kepada 11 hingga 12 karyawan yang dipecat secara sepihak. Total pesangon yang dipermasalahkan mencapai Rp 400 juta.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKami tidak akan diam! Hotel Gammara dengan arogan menolak putusan hukum, sementara hak kami terus diabaikan. Ini sudah melanggar undang-undang!\u201d teriak Jenderal Lapangan aksi, yang menjadi pemimpin protes tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Para mantan karyawan, yang rata-rata telah bekerja bertahun-tahun di hotel tersebut, merasa dirugikan dan diperlakukan secara tidak adil.<\/p>\n<p>Salah satu mantan karyawan, berinisial NA, mengungkapkan bahwa ini bukan hanya soal pesangon, tetapi juga masalah ketidakadilan lain yang dialami para pekerja.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBukan hanya pesangon yang belum dibayar. Ada rekan kami yang mengalami kecelakaan kerja hingga cacat permanen, namun tidak diberi kompensasi atau bantuan medis dari hotel. BPJS pun tidak disediakan oleh pihak manajemen,\u201d ungkap NA dengan nada kesal.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut NA, aksi demonstrasi ini bukan langkah pertama mereka. Sebelumnya, mereka telah mencoba jalur mediasi dan hukum, namun semua upaya itu tak membuahkan hasil.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hotel Gammara terus bersikeras menolak membayar apa yang menjadi hak kami.
