Suhunews.id<\/strong>– Federasi Rakyat Indonesia (FRI) mengeluarkan pernyataan tegas terkait dugaan produk skincare MAXIE yang mengandung hydroquinone dalam kadar melebihi batas aman.<\/p>\n

Temuan ini memicu kekhawatiran akan potensi dampak kesehatan serius bagi pengguna, mulai dari iritasi kulit hingga risiko kanker.<\/p>\n

Salim, Dewan Komando FRI, menyoroti proses notifikasi Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) yang dianggap lemah.<\/p>\n

“Meski produk MAXIE terdaftar di BPOM, proses notifikasi hanya melibatkan sampel tertentu, bukan seluruh produk yang beredar di pasar. Ini adalah celah besar yang membahayakan konsumen,” ujarnya. Melalui rilis yang di terima media ini. Kamis (19\/12\/2024)<\/p>\n

Hydroquinone sendiri merupakan bahan aktif pemutih kulit yang penggunaannya dibatasi ketat karena efek samping berbahaya, termasuk kerusakan kulit jangka panjang.<\/p>\n

FRI mendesak BPOM segera mengambil langkah konkret dengan melakukan investigasi mendalam terhadap produk MAXIE.<\/p>\n

“Jika terbukti melanggar, produk ini harus segera ditarik dari pasar, dan perusahaan yang terlibat diberikan sanksi tegas,” tegas Salim.<\/p>\n

Selain itu, FRI mengimbau masyarakat untuk lebih berhati-hati dalam memilih produk perawatan kulit.<\/p>\n

“Konsumen harus memeriksa izin edar BPOM dan tidak mudah tergiur klaim hasil instan yang justru bisa membahayakan kesehatan,” tambahnya.<\/p>\n

FRI juga merencanakan aksi langsung dengan menggeruduk kantor perusahaan MAXIE pada Jumat mendatang sebagai bentuk protes. “Kami akan mendesak transparansi dan tanggung jawab dari pihak perusahaan,” kata Salim.<\/p>\n

Hingga berita ini diturunkan, baik BPOM maupun pihak MAXIE belum memberikan tanggapan resmi atas tuduhan tersebut.<\/p>\n

FRI pun terus mendorong pemerintah dan lembaga terkait untuk meningkatkan pengawasan terhadap produk kosmetik yang beredar di Indonesia.<\/p>\n

Peringatan untuk Konsumen<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pengguna produk skincare diminta untuk lebih kritis dalam memeriksa komposisi dan keamanan produk.<\/p>\n

Jangan sampai tergiur janji instan tanpa mempertimbangkan risiko kesehatan jangka panjang.<\/p>\n

Laporan terbaru ini membuka wacana perlunya reformasi sistem pengawasan produk kosmetik di Indonesia demi melindungi konsumen dari bahaya yang tidak terlihat.<\/p>\n
